Reading the plate calculator.
For barbell exercises, a plate row shows what to load per side. Tap the bar-weight indicator to override the bar weight per exercise.
For barbell exercises with a target weight above the bar weight, a plate row appears under the set. It shows the plates needed per side, loaded largest first using a greedy algorithm.
The default bar weight is 20 kg. To override it for a specific exercise, such as a 15 kg women’s bar or a 25 kg axle, tap the bar-weight indicator in the plate row and enter a new value. The override is stored per exercise and persists across sessions.
Configure your available plates in Settings → Session → Plate calculator. If a target weight cannot be reached exactly with your plates, the row shows the closest achievable weight instead.
